Invitation to Attend Consultations on the Formulation of the Diaspora Policy
In recognition of the importance of the diaspora, the Zambian Government is in the process of formulating a Diaspora Policy.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Rayford Mbulu, MP, accompanied by officials from Cabinet Office, Zambia Development Agency as well as from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Labour, is coming to undertake consultations with the Zambian Diaspora in the United Kingdom on the following thematic areas:
1. Remittances
2. Dual Citizenship
3. Trade and Investment
4. Political Participation
5. Any Other Business
The Consultations will held as follows:
(1) London
Date: Friday, 17th July 2015
Venue: Zambia House, 2 Palace Gate, Kensington, London, W8 5NG
Time: 17.30 –20.00hrs
(2) Manchester
Date: Saturday, 18th July 2015
Venue: St. Peter’s House Church and Chaplaincy, Precinct Centre, University of Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9GH
Time: 16.30 – 19.00hrs
